Lena is board certified by the state of California. She received her
undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis in Human
Development, and then continued her graduate studies at Western
University of Health Sciences to receive her Masters of Science in
Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees. She is a Northern
California native and worked for in Intensive Care, specializing in
pediatric burns, at a Sacramento hospital. She is enthusiastic about
sharing her interests in preventative medicine, integrative medicine, and
achieving her patient’s overall health and wellness by treating both the
mind and body. Lena is very passionate about patient education and
encouraging her patient’s to participate in own their care while
maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She is interested in pediatric, adolescent
and adult health. When not working, Lena is an avid cook and enjoys
hosting dinner parties for her family and friends.
Dr. Hopper has been Board Certified and practicing Family Medicine for
over
9 years. She received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from U.C.
Davis in 1991. In 1993 she attended medical school at Jefferson Medical
College in Philadelphia, PA receiving her M.D. in 1997. She then entered
a residency in Family and Community Medicine, at the Medical Center of
Delaware and graduated in 2000. Her medical interests are many
including women’s health, minor in-office surgical procedures, cosmetic
injections, newborn care, pediatrics and adolescent medicine. Dr. Hopper
feels that a loss of caring has occurred in the physician/patient
relationship in this era of fast paced healthcare. She believes that the
patient should be a part of the healthcare team, they should be treated
with dignity and have their issues handled in a timely manner. Her
personal time is spent enjoying her husband and s
ix year old daughter,

ow shoeing, motocross, biking, kick-boxing, reading, writing and
scrap-booking her photography. She is a true native Californian and
knew she wanted to end up back in Northern California to practice
medicine.
Pam Rosenthal, M.S.N, F.N.P graduated with her masters degree and
FNP certificate in 2002 from the University of Phoenix in Sacramento.
She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a
Family Nurse Practitioner. She believes that it is a privilege to manage
the care of patients with chronic and acute illnesses. She enjoys
fostering a collaborative relationship with her patients and colleagues
with the patient as the central priority. In particular, Pam enjoys
teaching patients how to care for themselves and to strive for optimal
health. She believes in integrating fitness into a healthy lifestyle. She has
a particular interest in women’s health issues, particularly in the peri
menopausal years, as well as caring for patients with chronic diseases
such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and asthma. Outside of the
office Pam enjoys hiking, mountain biking and skiing. She also
participates in triathlons. She has been a Roseville resident for 15 years.
